Owner Dan Kiesewetter, is responsible for day-to-day agency management and ongoing business development. A licensed agent since 1981, his focus is on educating clients and developing personalized strategies to minimize the risks they face in their lives. Dan currently serves as a member of the Government Relations Committee for the Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois. He has also served as Regional Director for the organization and is recognized as a leader to other insurance professionals throughout the area. When he’s not helping customers to plan for the future with smart coverage, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathy, and their three children. In addition to his passion for raising Angus cattle, he also volunteers with his church, participates in Farmington Rotary Club, Farmington Betterment Association, and Farmington Forward.

Steve has extensive experience in personal and agricultural insurance. In addition to his work helping families and businesses to protect their farms, he has served as former President of the LaMoine Valley Angus Association and has been an active member of the Illinois and American Angus Associations. He remains involved in the Farmington FFA Alumni Association, Jubilee Riders, Knights of Columbus, and other local fraternal organizations. Away from the agency, Steve continues to raise and sell Angus cattle. He and his wife, Renee, also enjoys trail riding and other equestrian activities.

Kristie brought 20+ years of experience in customer service to the Kiesewetter Agency when she joined us in 2011 as our Personal Lines Customer Service Representative. She uses the knowledge and insight gained along the way to help our clients to find the perfect coverage for their homes, autos, and recreational vehicles (including boats, motorcycles and ATVs). Kristie and her husband have three children, only one at home now but they are constantly on the go with their youngest daughter’s busy schedule. Kristie and her family somehow find time to get away together and enjoy camping, boating, and four-wheeling throughout the summer.

Becki joined our agency in May 2022 as a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative. She brought her people skills to us from 14+ years of experience in education and the healthcare field. She has two young girls that keep her hustling, when not chasing them around or shuffling off to gymnastics she enjoys playing/coaching volleyball, shopping, catching up with friends and learning about true crime. In the Winter she takes several trips to Cascade Mountain with her family to ski and looks forward to passing this tradition on to her girls. Becki loves people and will definitely make you laugh!

Katie joined the Kiesewetter Insurance Agency as our Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative in October 2022. Katie is new to the insurance industry but brings 10 years of customer service in the medical field to our agency. She and Ryan have three young kids and they enjoy spending time with family the most. Outside of being a Mom Katie likes the outdoors, fishing, country music, traveling and a good book.
